| SMMC Auxiliary Holds Perennial Plant Sale |

YORK COUNTY, MAINE – On Thursday, June 24th from 8 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the Southern Maine Medical Center (SMMC) Auxiliary will be hosting a Perennial Plant Sale where community members will have the opportunity to purchase plants at an inexpensive price. The plants came from multiple gardens throughout York County and were all donated by employees, volunteers and local greenhouses. The sale will take place outside of the Main Lobby with 100% of the purchases benefitting the Auxiliary.
The SMMC Auxiliary has been an integral part of the hospital family since 1907, raising and donating over $2 million to SMMC over the past 100 years. This dynamic group helps people across York County through their support of many important patient care programs and services that would otherwise not receive funding, such as massage therapy for cancer patients.
