Saco Walk-In Care Opens Noon to 8 PM Daily
Offering most convenient non-emergency care in York County

Southern Maine Medical Center (SMMC) has opened Saco’s first Walk-In Care center at its PrimeCare Physicians office located at 655 Main Street at the corner of Route 1 and Ross Road. Open seven days a week from noon to 8 pm with easy access from Route 1 and the Maine Turnpike, SMMC Walk-In Care provides the most convenient non-emergency in York County!

Anyone seeking non-emergency treatment is welcome at Walk-In Care. No appointment is necessary. X-ray and lab services are available on site and the Walk-In Care staff treats health issues like:

• Colds, Sore Throats and Flu
• Strains and Sprains
• Ear, Eye and Sinus Infections
• Cuts and Abrasions

“The opening of our first Walk-In Care center in Saco marks an exciting occasion for SMMC,” stated President and CEO Ed McGeachey. “Being open seven days a week from noon to 8 pm gives surrounding communities access to the most convenient non-emergency care in York County. It’s important for everyone to have a Primary Care Physician and we encourage patients to continue visiting their Primary Care Physician to maintain good health. However, when the doctor isn’t available, SMMC’s Walk-In Care provides another option for care. In addition, SMMC continues to provide emergency care at the hospital campus located at One Medical Center Drive in Biddeford all day, every day,” added McGeachey.

SMMC has PrimeCare Family Physician offices on Industrial Park Road in Saco as well as in Biddeford and Kennebunk. Internal Medicine Physician offices are located in Biddeford, Old Orchard Beach and Kennebunk.
