| The Home Health Aide is a proficient worker who performs personal care and homemaking services in the home when an individual or family cannot meet these responsibilities. The Home Health Aide reports to the Clinical Information Specialist. The Home Health Aide works under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse or other profes¬sional to provide supplementary service in carrying out a plan of care. Clients assigned may be in acute, intermediate, or maintenance level of care. The Home Health Aide is scheduled by the Home Health Aide Scheduler under the direction of the Clinical Information Specialist. |

| Qualifications: Graduate of Maine Certified Program or accepted equivalent of out-of-state program by Maine CNA Registry
Completed Home Health Aide Training and Certification Program as required by regulations
Registered or able to be registered on Maine State CNA Registry
Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance
One year clinical experience functioning as a CNA preferred |
