The team-oriented design of the SMMC Center for Breast Care enhances communication between the primary care physician, the radiologist, the surgeon, the medical oncologist, and the radation oncologist – all with the patient at the center of the care circle. We’re with you each step of the way.

• Helene Langley, RN, BS, CPBN-IC - Certified Patient Navigator for Breast Care
  Women told us they wanted a guide; someone compassionate enough to understand the physical and emotional issues and experienced enough to guide each patient on their way toward survivorship. Helene, SMMC’s Certified Patient Navigator, fills that role for you and your family. Whether concerns originate with a lump felt by a woman or her physician or from a suspicious finding as a result of a screening mammogram, Helene is your personal guide for communication with the healthcare team and the family, from diagnosis, surgery, reconstruction, after-care and survival. • Catherine Share, MD - Breast Care Surgical Specialist
  Dr. Share has performed more breast cancer surgery with outstanding clinical and aesthetic results than most surgeons in our area focused on breast surgery. For more than 20 years, a large portion of Dr. Share’s practice has been devoted to breast care, for both benign and malignant disease. From timely diagnosis, awareness of ongoing clinical trials, chemotherapy regimens and reconstruction to survivorship, Dr. Share offers the reassurance and compassion you want to see in a surgical specialist. • Kurt Ebrahim, DO - Hematology/Oncology Specialist
  Dr. Ebrahim provides top of the line National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) based oncologic care at SMMC through our partnership with the Cancer Care Center of York County and the Maine Center for Cancer Medicine, one of Northern New England's largest oncology groups. He has been caring for cancer or blood disorder patients with skill, compassion and respect for nearly 25 years. Dr. Ebrahim believes in treating the person, not just the disease; making time to talk with his patients about their care options and concerns. • Sarah Holland, MD - Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
  Dr. Holland is passionate in sharing her expertise in breast reconstruction surgery. Her extensive experience allows her to provide reconstructive solutions to patients with a variety of individual goals and desires. A significant portion of her practice is dedicated to patients who wish to restore the shape, volume, or position of their breasts. Breast reconstruction is an integral part of the journey for many women, and often it allows them to improve their body image and regain self-confidence along the road to recovery. • Sharade Pailoor, MD - Pathologist
  Dr. Pailoor understands the complexity involved in both diagnosing and treating breast cancer. Dr. Pailoor is part of Spectrum Medical Group, Maine’s largest multi-specialty, physician-owned organization. She works closely with her surgical, radiological, and oncological colleagues to offer rapid and reliable diagnoses, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach in managing breast health issues. Her commitment to the highest level of service is reflected in the fact that all breast biopsies are reviewed by at least two pathologists with most results delivered in 1-2 days. • Cameron Saber, MD - Fellowship-trained Breast Imaging Specialist
  Dr. Saber is dedicated full-time to SMMC’s breast care patients. He meets directly with any patient asked to return for additional imaging following screening mammograms or with patients referred to SMMC for imaging of clinical areas of concern. As a Fellowship-trained breast imaging specialist, Dr. Saber and the team from Spectrum Medical Group, Maine’s largest multi-specialty, physician-owned organization, utilize the best diagnostic tools to develop your treatment regimen.
