Helene, SMMC’s Certified Patient Navigator, fills that role for you and your family. Whether concerns originate with a lump felt by a woman or her physician or from a suspicious finding as a result of a screening mammogram, Helene is your personal guide for communication with the healthcare team and the family, from diagnosis, surgery, reconstruction, after-care and survival.
